    Plaquenil side effects rash

I have been getting these horrible rashes and they are not related to sun exposure. I am starting to wonder if they are related to Plaquenil.

Find information about common, infrequent and rare side effects of Plaquenil Oral. Hydroxychloroquine Plaquenil is one of the safest drugs in medicine. Serious side effects are rare & routine blood tests are not required. Allergy new skin rashes is unusual but it means ruling our future use. Commoner, usually mild, side effects are indigestion, ‘gurgly tummy’, diarrhoea & headache. Many people using this medication do not have serious side your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur arm/leg/back pain, fast heartbeat, hair loss/color change, mental/mood changes e.g. anxiety, depression, hallucinations, ringing in the ears/hearing loss, worsening of skin conditions e.g. psoriasismedication may infrequently cause serious sometimes permanent eye problems or muscle damage, especially if you take it for a long time.

I've always been one to go for the natural route and am starting to feel like I should just stop taking everything and see what happens - so frustrating. My doctor now wants me to start on Chloroquine instead of plaquenil.

Can plaquenil cause yeast infection, how can i treat it,and is. Hi, First, the yeast infection is not a complication of Plaquenil rather it is due to Sjogren s in which yeast infections are common and Plaquenil reduces the risk of yeast infection in such patient. Now about the drug interaction of Plaquenil and Diflucan, an FDA study done shows that there.

Early RA treatment - Hydroxychloroquine? Hi all, just. - NRAS I just remembered that my Mum was on hydroxychloroquine, and it was the only treatment she had for probably 40 years as it was the only thing she could tolerate. It definitely did well for her, especially as she had a fairly aggressive beginning with RA appearing at around age 13, and no real drug treatment until around age 30 or so.
