Typhoid vaccine is a live attenuated weakened oral typhoid vaccine. Typhoid disease is caused by ingestion of Salmonella typhi strains from contaminated food or water. Active immunity from vaccine is occurs when the body produces antibodies to typhoid in response to the weakened typhoid bacteria in the vaccine. The antimalarial drugs mefloquine Lariam and chloroquine Aralen have been shown to not decrease the immune response to oral typhoid vaccine. Aralen chloroquine is an antimalarial drug used for the treatment of malaria and extraintestinal amebiasis. Common side effects are reduced hearing, tinnitus, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Dosage, drug interactions, and pregnancy and breastfeeding safety are provided.

ANSWER: Typhoid and malaria are very different illnesses, caused by different disease organisms. Typhoid is usually transmitted by eating food or drinking water which has been contaminated by sewage or handled by someone else with typhoid fever. My question is though i I’ve been treated for typhoid before malaria is conformed why it has come again?
